What does Islam mean?
The Arabic word ' Islam' simply means ' submission' and
derives from a word meaning ' peace'. In a religious context
it means complete submission to the will of God. Islam
teaches that one can only find peace in one's life by
submitting to Almighty God (Allah) in heart, soul and deed.
The most important truth that God revealed to mankind is
that there is nothing divine or worthy of being worshipped
except for Almighty God ( Allah ), thus all human beings
should submit to Him.
